JONNY「Dizzy Milk For Eric」
Jonny(Norman Blake from Teenage Fanclub & Euros Childs ex- Gorky's Zygotic Mynci) toured Japan in May 2011 just after 3.11 north Japan quake. They recorded this beautiful new song “Dizzy Milk For Eric”while they’re touring in Japan. And they want to release this song as charity for Japan quake/tsunami victims, accompany with 2 live tracks with Shonen Kinfe (Ritsuko and Emi) recorded at Nagoya show.

Many times essential things are invisible to us. Sometimes invisible when life is too easy, and sometimes invisible when life is too difficult.
When in Japan I had the possibility to play music with such wonderful musicians, in such wonderful venues, to such wonderful audiences and these experiences have enrichened my life and music. And I have the certainty that they will continue to do so, and I have the certainty that Japanese audiences, venues and musicians will always be this wonderful. And more wonderful in time. Always allowing music, to become sound.
This recording is just the recording of something that happened on April 17th evening at Powers 2. The music was there, as unpredictable as good, and we had fun playing!!! I hope you'll enjoy these recordings (as if there were photos of an essential event).

As of April 3, the death toll has reached 12,731 people and 14,760 people still missing for a total of 27,491 people.
With roughly 2,300 evacuation sites spread out amongst one city and 17 prefectures, there are a total of 156,000 evacuees including those who evacuated due to the accident at the Fukushima Power Plant. The radiation leak at the power plant is far from over and continues to be an agonizing situation for the Japanese people.
We’re hoping to help these people get back to their everyday lives and to help Japan rebuild.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences, prayers and support to all victims, families and friends in this difficult time.
